Halloween Party (backdated like a mofo)

The theme for this year's annual Halloween Bash is Heroes and Villains. The club has been redecorated for the evening, and it seems as though each corner has a different theme. And we're not talking the campy sixties type stuff, but the more recent movies from both Marvel and DC.

One half of the room is DC, complete with areas that look like the Batcave, the Fortress of Solitude, Arkham Asylum, and the Legion of Doom's lair, which has dartboards that have various heroes faces on them.

The other half of the room has the Avenger's Tower, The ship from Guardian's of the Galaxy, a throne in space with Thanos, and Hydra's lair.

They all meet in the middle at the dance floor, which gives off a kind of supernatural glow that seems to throb along with the music.

All the employees are dressed for the theme, as various heroes and villian's sidekicks and henchment.

The L.A. Contingent

Will and the gang arrive as a group, thanks to Angel Air™. Unforeseen circumstances had put them a little behind schedule, and a last minute change with regards to their costumes had only added to the delay. But now they're all here and more than ready to party.

Evan is Captain America, Will is the Winter Soldier, Jason is the Flash, Cal is Reverse Flash, Gabriel is Batman, and Grace is Catwoman.

Aidan, Grace, and Gabriel

"Grace, you make a very sexy Catwoman and Gabriel? You're perfect as Batman. Look at your ass, man."

"Thank you, Aidan, you look very handsome yourself," Grace says, leaning in to kiss his cheek as Gabriel starts to slowly turn in a circle as he pushes aside his cape and attempts to look at his ass.

"I really do approve of Gabriel's arse. I'm sure that you do as well, Grace." Aidan says with a grin and a blush at the kiss on the cheek.

"Thank you very much," Gabriel says, stopping and giving Aidan a hug. "Grace loves my ass, especially when I let her--"

"Okay, sweetie, that's enough," Grace says with a soft giggle. "Aidan doesn't want to hear about our sex life."

Evan grins at the maskless Spiderman and gives him a hug. "That's why we're late. I wanted us to all be Marvel, but Jason has a crush on the guy who plays the Flash, and Grace wanted to play dress up."

"You're looking great, Kyle," Will says, hugging him next.

Kyle is all flustered. "Well all of you look amazing. I'm not sure who's ass to stare at first!"

Mia and Evan

Mia's moving slowly through the crowd and checking out people's costumes. There's some she doesn't recognize, but most people seem to be dressing from the movies, which she's seen.

She spots yet another Captain America, this one with his back to her, and makes her way over to him. "That's one of the most popular costumes here tonight. There's at least six or seven others."

[Wasn't sure if he's wearing the mask or not :)]

"Yeah, lots of folks love Cap," Evan says, turning around, then pausing when he sees who's speaking to him.

Mia's face registers flat out shock for a moment when this Cap turns around. "Oh." It takes her just a second or two to get over the surprise. Then she offers a very small, but genuine smile.

"Hi. Evan, right? I don't think we ever actually met."

She's friendly, but not overly so. She's well aware she's not really liked by Will or his husbands. Doesn't mean she can't be amiable.

His expression is impassive. He'd forgotten Wes and company are friends with her, so of course she'd be here.

That reaction is about the best she figures she could hope for. "For what it's worth, it's nice to finally meet you."

She wants to offer her hand for a handshake, but has a feeling he wouldn't accept it. And then surprising herself, feeling stupidly hopeful, she offers her hand out anyway.

James and Evan

James comes out from being with Cal, only to bump into Evan. "Well hello, Captain."

He's had a few drinks by now and that just brings out the humble side of him.

Cal and Aidan

He is dancing on the floor when he sees Cal come out of one of the rooms, "Cal! Come and dance with me."

Cal smiles when he sees Aidan, and he makes his way out to the dance floor. "Hello, chéri," he says, hugging him and kissing him on each cheek. "You look fantastic."
