The theme for this year's annual Halloween Bash is Heroes and Villains. The club has been redecorated for the evening, and it seems as though each corner has a different theme. And we're not talking the campy sixties type stuff, but the more recent movies from both Marvel and DC.

One half of the room is DC, complete with areas that look like the Batcave, the Fortress of Solitude, Arkham Asylum, and the Legion of Doom's lair, which has dartboards that have various heroes faces on them.

The other half of the room has the Avenger's Tower, The ship from Guardian's of the Galaxy, a throne in space with Thanos, and Hydra's lair.

They all meet in the middle at the dance floor, which gives off a kind of supernatural glow that seems to throb along with the music.

All the employees are dressed for the theme, as various heroes and villian's sidekicks and henchment.

As if on cue, all of them turn around to let him take an equal gander.

Kyle might have just fainted dead away.

Will looks over his shoulder at Kyle and laughs before turning around and going to him to give him a hug. "One of these days, we're going to kidnap you and spend some time with just you."

"Why do you sound so wicked when you say that?" Evan laughs as he turns around, too.

Kyle is blushing even more furiously. "He sounds wicked when he says a lot of things."

Evan puts an arm around Kyle's shoulders. "C'mon, let me get you away from these wise guys," he says.

"Aww, come on," Jason says. "I promise, we won't bite. We never really get a chance to just sit and talk to Kyle. I promise, we'll behave."

Evan looks at Kyle and smiles. "Up to you."

"Well, maybe we could give them a change, for a little while at least. It's still early, after all."

"Yay!" Jason says, grabbing Kyle's hand and leading him over to an empty booth that will fit the seven of them before Evan can even say anything.

Grace is smiling at being included as they all pile into the booth because she doesn't get the chance to talk to many of her uncles' friends. Not in any real way, anyway.

Kyle is all kinds of flustered as he sits at the booth. "I'm...not sure what you all would want to talk to be about..."

"Well, I, for one, would like to have a chance to say more than two words to you before Evan puts his tongue down your throat," Cal says, getting a chuckle and light smack from Will.

Evan made sure to sit next to Kyle, and he puts an arm around his shoulders. "I don't do that."

"Teasing aside," Grace says softly, "I think we all know how special you are to Uncle Evan, and it would be a good thing if you were special to all of us, too."

"Grace, are you threatening him or trying to get in his pants," Jason says as a joke, getting a glare from her in return and mumbling an apology before she sets his hair on fire. Again.

Grace looks at Kyle again, smiling. "I hope that didn't sound threatening or anything because it's not how I meant it. I really honestly think it's important that you feel special and loved and accepted by this side of the family. That's all."

Well it might not seem frightening except for the glare and the whole setting Jason's hair on fire...thing. I mean if that's what she does to family...

Evan narrows his eyes and clears his throat. "Gracie, sweetheart, I'm sure Kyle appreciates the gesture, but--"

"Tell me about your horses, Kyle," Grace says, ignoring her uncle. "Tell me about Texas. Uncle Evan never really talks to me anymore. No one does, really..."

He can't help but think it's because she sets their hair on fire...

"Um, well I only have the two horses so far. An Arabian and a Friesian. Both are stallions, and I'm hoping to get a few mares and breed them maybe. I also want to take in some rescues."

She had only done it once when Jason was teasing her about Gabriel and wouldn't stop. And it was more of a glamour than real fire, only meant to scare him, really...

"What are you going to do with them once you start breeding them?" Jason asks.

Well it certainly works to scare Kyle!

"I'll sell some of them, and use the proceeds to take care of the rescue horses until we can find them good homes."

"That sounds like a lovely thing," Cal says. "Is Evan going to help you? What about the others?"

"Evan's expressed interest in helping," he says as he gives the man a soft, almost shy smile. "The rest of the guys have been helping where they can, although Wes isn't a big fan of horses."

Evan returns the smile and gives Kyle a soft kiss. "I'll do whatever you want me to," he says softly.

"Oh my god, you guys are adorable," Jason says quietly. "Would you mind if I--"

"You're not gonna watch us hook up," Evan says with a grin, licking his lips and kissing Kyle again.

Kyle blinks for a moment, then turns a rather bright scarlet.

Grace smiles when she sees that. "Actually, I think maybe we should give them some privacy, guys," she says softly.

Kyle glances in her direction, and though he's still blushing like crazy, he gives her a grateful smile.

Jason sighs dramatically. "Okay, fine, I guess I don't get to sit here and watch my husband making out with his sexy boyfriend."

"No, you don't because you have to make out with your sexy boyfriend," Cal says to him.

"Then it's settled," Grace says. "We'll leave you two alone, Uncle Evan."

"Thanks, we'll catch you guys later," Evan says, brushing his fingers over the back of Kyle's neck as he waits for them to say their goodbyes.

A shiver moves along Kyle's neck at the soft touch, but he manages to smile at them. "Thanks. We can talk more later, when I'm not so...distracted..."

"Oh, so I'm distracting you, huh?" Evan says with a grin once the others are gone. His fingers are still lightly caressing Kyle's neck.

He licks his lips slightly. "Like you didn't know..."

Evan laughs softly and kisses him again, moving his hand down to Kyle's leg to squeeze his thigh.

"To be fair, you started distracting me the minute we got here."
