It's been a long time since Aidan has worked behind the bar, but he had to fill in for a lot of his staff. Two of his bartenders, Rose and Danica, are getting married this weekend in Las Vegas and that meant that most of the rest of the bartending staff would go as well. Not only does he have to fill in, but Killian is filling in as well. It's been a long time since he worked with him too, so this will be an adjustment.

The good news is that the dancers are still there and dancing, so they will be able to be entertained throughout their shift.

Bryce gives Alex a slightly lifted eyebrow and a rather curious look. "Okay," he says as he heads back.

He lifts an eyebrow right back at him as he follows him backstage toward the dressing rooms.

"Everything okay," he asks as he gets to his dressing room to get the disc.

"Yeah. Just needed the music before I went on." He says as he is sits on the arm of the couch. "So, what were you talking to Killian about?"

"I was offering to help out behind the bar later after my last set, since they tend to get busy and I won't be on stage."

"With Aidan?"

"He'll probably be getting ready for closing, actually."

"So, it will be you and Killian working together." He says as he offers his hand out to take the music.

Bryce hands it to him. "For a little while, not that it matters much. We're always busy as hell at the bar towards the end of the night."

"Ah, so you were hoping that something would happen and it would matter?"

"That's not what I meant. Killian and I are just friends, remember?"

"You aren't just friends just like you and I aren't just friends and you know it. Just own up to it and tell him how you really feel."

Bryce looks at him. "He's known how I really feel for a long time now, Alex. Friends is all we can be, regardless of any feelings that might be there."

Killian knocks on the door, "Bryce, I need you now."

Alex just looks at Bryce before he stands up. "That's my cue. See you guys after the show." He leaves, brushing past Killian.

Bryce's brow furrows as he watches Alex go, then he shakes his head slightly before he looks at Killian. "Lets go. Can't have the customers getting thirsty."

"I didn't interrupt anything, did I?" He asks as Bryce locks up his dressing room behind them.

"I'm really not sure, to be honest."

"Troubles?" He asks as they get back to the bar and it's around this time that Aidan has gone off with Jason.

"He was just asking about what was going on with me being behind the bar with you."

"Ah, so he wanted to know what was going on with us specifically because I hate to think that your new boyfriend isn't dumb enough not to know what bartending is."

"So it would seem, and we're not in a relationship. We're roommates with some rather nice benefits attached."

"You say that, but I don't think you mean it. I don't think that Adam believes that either. You need to have a conversation about what you really mean to each other." He says as he starts working.

Bryce starts to work as well. "We've already talked about that stuff," he says as he flashes his winning smile to a customer as he gives her the drink she ordered.

He moves around Bryce to get a couple more glasses before he whispers, "Well, your not so boyfriend is acting like a jealous boyfriend and he's giving me a dirty look right now."

He brushes past him again so that Bryce can see the kid doing that. And again. He doesn't remember this kid's name. Adam or Alex? He doesn't care.

~~My fault. Changing his name halfway through has now fucked me up.~~

Alex has stopped dancing for the moment so he can look at them since this is the part where they are all on the platforms and dancing for tips in nothing but underwear.
