Halloween Party (backdated like a mofo)

The theme for this year's annual Halloween Bash is Heroes and Villains. The club has been redecorated for the evening, and it seems as though each corner has a different theme. And we're not talking the campy sixties type stuff, but the more recent movies from both Marvel and DC.

One half of the room is DC, complete with areas that look like the Batcave, the Fortress of Solitude, Arkham Asylum, and the Legion of Doom's lair, which has dartboards that have various heroes faces on them.

The other half of the room has the Avenger's Tower, The ship from Guardian's of the Galaxy, a throne in space with Thanos, and Hydra's lair.

They all meet in the middle at the dance floor, which gives off a kind of supernatural glow that seems to throb along with the music.

All the employees are dressed for the theme, as various heroes and villian's sidekicks and henchment.

Mia's dressed as Black Widow, her jumpsuit similar to the one from the second Avengers movie.

She decided against a wig, but her hair is curled a bit and she's armed to the teeth just like Black Widow. Yes, those are all real weapons. Yes, she looks ready to kick your ass and look good while doing it. But for now, she's probably going to spend much of her evening at the bar.

[OOC: I'm open to pretty much any IC interaction, even if our muses don't quite get along or haven't met yet!]

Mia and Gabriel

Gabriel steps up to the bar to get a couple of drinks for himself and Grace. He had considered just making some appear to them, but Grace had insisted they try to be as normal tonight as possible, and he had grudgingly agreed. Before trying to flag down a bartender, he turns his head to nod a greeting at the female seated at the bar, then smiles when he sees who it is.

"Hello, Mia." He's still wearing his Batman mask, so he adds. "It's me. Gabriel."

Mia's been seemingly lost in thought, staring at her drink, but looks up at Gabriel when he speaks and instantly breaks into a grin.

"Gabriel! It's been too long!" She slides off her stool to give him a big bearhug. "I wouldn't have guessed you as Batman but you look good."

Gabriel returns the hug. "Thank you. It was Grace's idea. You look lovely. And dangerous."

She pulls back to look at his costume better. "Who's she dressed as? Batgirl or Batwoman?" Give her a break, she's still learning all the comic book characters on this planet...

Mia gives a very innocent, cute smile at the compliment. "Thank you. That's the point, cause I am."

"We had discussed Batgirl, but since the theme was heroes and villains, we decided on Catwoman." Gabriel smiles because, thanks to Jason and Evan, he has become quite knowledgeable about these things.

He looks at her ensemble again. "Grace's costume is similar in that it's black and skin tight, but her only accessory is a whip."

"That's right, I'd forgotten there was a cat one, too." So many Terran superhero characters named after animals...

Mia's about to say something and stops herself for just a moment to redirect herself. "It was too hard to choose between all my favorites."

"Weapons? I like all of them. Superheroes, I don't know enough of them yet to pick one. Is Batman your favorite?"

"My favorite is Captain America but Evan dressed as him tonight. Batman is my second favorite." He turns slightly. "I like the cape."

"It does look good on you. Can you twirl for me? I don't think I've ever seen Batman twirl."

Gabriel smiles. He knows what twirling is because Grace likes to do it all the time when she's wearing dresses. He steps back, then spins around with a little laugh.

Mia giggles with delight, then giggles even harder and can't stop. "That's the best thing I've seen all week."

"It is?" Gabriel asks, his face lighting up. "I'm glad."

"You should twirl more often, no matter what you're wearing. The view isn't bad at all."

Gabriel laughs. "Thank you. I think it's only fair that you twirl for me now. Let me see the complete ensemble."

"I don't think Black Widow is supposed to twirl, but for Batman, she can make an exception," she laughs teasingly.

Mia takes a step back to do a proper slow twirl for Gabriel, laughing again when she's done. "It doesn't have the same effect without a cape."

"It's all right. It was still impressive," Gabriel says. "That costume makes your bottom look extremely attractive."

For some reason that gets a blush from her. "Thank you. I think that's the point of most superhero costumes on this planet, to be honest."

"I agree," he says, looking down. "My crotch appears to be quite substantial, as does my chest."

Mia chuckles, then adds, "I don't think you need a superhero costume for that." Then she covers her mouth with her hand while still laughing. "I shouldn't say that. Grace might mind."

Gabriel laughs and shakes his head. "Grace wouldn't mind at all. She's quite...understanding now. Much more so than when we first got together."

"So she's okay with a little harmless flirting? I mean, it's not like I have a thing for you anymore."

"Yes, she's okay with flirting." He looks at her a little curiously. "And you had a thing for me?"

"Well, it was a 'wanting to have a lot of sex with you' thing. In the end you kinda gave me a thing for angels in general," she admits wryly, looking a bit mischievous and chagrined with a touch of shyness all at the same time.
