The theme for this year's annual Halloween Bash is Heroes and Villains. The club has been redecorated for the evening, and it seems as though each corner has a different theme. And we're not talking the campy sixties type stuff, but the more recent movies from both Marvel and DC.

One half of the room is DC, complete with areas that look like the Batcave, the Fortress of Solitude, Arkham Asylum, and the Legion of Doom's lair, which has dartboards that have various heroes faces on them.

The other half of the room has the Avenger's Tower, The ship from Guardian's of the Galaxy, a throne in space with Thanos, and Hydra's lair.

They all meet in the middle at the dance floor, which gives off a kind of supernatural glow that seems to throb along with the music.

All the employees are dressed for the theme, as various heroes and villian's sidekicks and henchment.

Evan turns on Will and Jason. "What the hell did you guys do? Why...why would you ever want anything to do with them? Especially after what Lucifer put us through?"

Will goes to him, reaches out to touch him but is rebuffed. "Ev..."

"I just need a fucking minute," Evan snaps at him and walks away because he can't look at any of them right now.

Lucifer smiles at his husband and waits for more reactions.

James has tears in his eyes, "I can't believe this is happening. How could any of you do this. You know how evil he is." He looks at Jason, "And I'm not talking about Lucifer." He looks at Kyle, "Why would you do this when we are protected by K'tanya. She was supposed to protect you."

Jason interrupts, "Have you seen or talked to her lately? She disappeared. I doubt she's even in your lives anymore. Although, we think she did still protect Aidan and that is why we couldn't get his soul. We're still trying to figure that out."

"Shut up!" James snaps, "I'm done talking to you." He moves over to Wes, the only one out of his group that hasn't fucked up everything that he knows and loves.

Wes looks at James. "Are you ready to go?"

Kyle knows that there is no point in talking to him until he has had time to process everything.

Jason looks gutted as he goes to Gabriel. "Can you take us home?"

Gabriel looks at everyone. "I don't think anyone should go anywhere."

"I think everyone needs to hash things out right here and now. Brawl if you have to."

Lucifer steps to the middle of the room and surveys the damage, what little of it there is, then walks over to Kyle and puts an arm around him.

"If I may make an observation, it appears that the people who agreed to sacrifice themselves for the ones they love aren't being appreciated in the way they should. I understand the initial shock, but how selfish of the rest of you." He shakes his head. "Kyle here probably made the greatest sacrifice for all of you, and all you want to do is shun him. What a shame."

"Is that...what's happening? Are you shunning us because of what happened?" Aidan asks James and Wes. He might direct this to Evan too, if he's still around.

"I wouldn't let his words lead you to believe anything, Aidan. I for one need time to consider all I've learned. I am making no decisions here tonight about how I might feel or what I might do."

Jase looks over at Evan. "Ev...? Is that what you need to do, too?"

Evan clenches his jaw. "Maybe."

"We aren't going to give you what you want right now." James says to Lucifer and Jason, "But I will call bullshit on the fact that this man is just Will's look-a-like. I don't believe it for a moment. You've been setting this up for a while."

Kyle is trying not to pull away from Lucifer right now, not wanting to piss him off or make the situation any worse than it is already.

Lucifer frowns and looks at his husband, his confusion at James's statement evident to anyone watching. He leaves Kyle's side to walk over to James.

"What exactly are you accusing my husband of doing?"

"Purely Evil." He says, which covers a broad spectrum of things.

Jason looks at Lucifer, "He's not wrong. And I still have both of their souls and I will make them do whatever I want as part of our contract."

Lucifer looks at Jason. "He's not wrong about you setting up Benjamin for something?"

"He's not wrong about me being purely evil. That I am. I did not set Benjamin up for anything. Although, good on him for fucking you James. You didn't even realize that he wasn't Will. I'm sure you don't love him as much as you claim you do."

James was going to say something but Wes is right. He should have known that it was baiting, but there is truth to it. Why didn't he see...

Lucifer chuckles. "Though it does sound like James is grasping at straws to explain away the fact he fucked a stranger and thought it was a man he claims to love." He looks at Jason and winks. "That isn't baiting. That's fact."

James sighs, "It's a costume party and I've been drinking. I..." He looks at Will, "I'm sorry...I...just..."

Jason rolls his eyes because that does sound lame but Kyle asked him to leave him alone and so he is. Only because he has his soul.

Lucifer raises an eyebrow at Jason letting a pet get away with speaking to him that way. He says nothing but will remember that.

Will looks at James and shakes his head. "It...it's okay, James. I... Look at him," he says, gesturing towards Benjamin where he's standing with Kevin. "He could be my twin. I don't understand it, but... You couldn't have known."

"And...it can't be an accident that he's wearing Will's costume," Jase says, his voice small.

Kyle is sure he doesn't like the look Lucifer is giving Hason, since it could very well mean trouble for him later.

Wes is simply watching, waiting for James to be ready to leave.

That is indeed the very chink in Jason's armor when it comes to Kyle.

James looks at Jason, "No. He planned this just like this." James looks at Wes, "I'm ready."

Aidan frowns, "What about...Kyle and I? What about all of us? We were supposed to have them stay at our house so they can go home tomorrow. Maybe...maybe they need to and we can talk about this at home without Jason and Lucifer."

Although, if Aidan thinks that Lucifer and Jason won't listen in with popcorn ready, he's got another thing coming.

Jase looks at Aidan, then at Will. He doesn't know if they'd be welcome back at the house and he's ready to have Gabriel take them all back to L.A., though, the way Evan is acting makes him wonder if they should go back together.

Cal looks around at the people around them who are still just frozen in place.

"Whatever we do, I believe we should let these people continue their evening," he says.
