Halloween Party (backdated like a mofo)

The theme for this year's annual Halloween Bash is Heroes and Villains. The club has been redecorated for the evening, and it seems as though each corner has a different theme. And we're not talking the campy sixties type stuff, but the more recent movies from both Marvel and DC.

One half of the room is DC, complete with areas that look like the Batcave, the Fortress of Solitude, Arkham Asylum, and the Legion of Doom's lair, which has dartboards that have various heroes faces on them.

The other half of the room has the Avenger's Tower, The ship from Guardian's of the Galaxy, a throne in space with Thanos, and Hydra's lair.

They all meet in the middle at the dance floor, which gives off a kind of supernatural glow that seems to throb along with the music.

All the employees are dressed for the theme, as various heroes and villian's sidekicks and henchment.

Let the fun begin!

Micah grins because he knows Lucifer would find that pretty rich. And probably hate it.

"That sucks." He says as he puts his hands on the other guys waist to continue dancing, "Hey, I'm Adam. Most people just call me 'The Kid'. What's your name?"

"Micah," he says, putting his hands on the kid, too. "And it's really nice to meet you, Adam. I saw you dancing earlier. You're really good."

"Thank you. I took a break after a while to fuck my boss and roommate, but I'm back now. You don't have to pay though." He says with a grin.

"I appreciate that." Micah returns the grin and moves closer. It really is fun getting to be someone else. "Who's your boss?"

"Uh, his name is Bryce. Well, okay. Bryce is my 'dance' boss. I guess he's the head of the on stage entertainment." He looks around, "There he is. He's the Ken doll over there dancing." He smiles at Micah, "But my ultimate boss is Aidan, who owns this club."

Micah looks over and nods when he sees Bryce. "Wow, he's hot," he says, then looks at Adam again. "Nice. Have you slept with your big boss, too?"

"No, but I hear that he gets around. I know he slept with Bryce once. He's a nice guy. He took me in when nobody else would."

Aidan does have a soft spot for the lost souls. Killian, Bryce, the Kid, Kyle...

That catches Micah's attention, and he looks at Adam. "What happened? Why did you have to be taken in?"

"Well...I started dancing in Tampa and I met a girl who rocked my world. She got me hooked on her and drugs. But, I met Dallas and he showed me a whole other side of me. He took me to Macao and we started dancing and doing drugs there. But, dancing more or less turned to him trying to pimp me out so I left and came back home. Only my sister wasn't there. She moved to Detroit for nursing.

Without her, I was addicted and thrown in jail. She got me and took me to Detroit. She helped get me sober and found the only place in Detroit I could work. Aidan became my parole officer and helped me. I moved in with Bryce so he can look after me and make sure I don't fall back on drugs."

He frowns, "Wow. That was a lot. I didn't think you'd want to hear all of that but you are really easy to talk to."

Micah's eyes fill with sympathy and understanding as he listens to Adam's story. It reminds him of so many of the people he and Gabriel have gone around the globe to help in their hour of need, and he truly understands for the first time that even humans can be guardian angels.

Without a thought, Micah puts his arms around Adam and just hugs him. "Thank you for sharing that with me. I'm happy you've found your place and your family."

"Thank...you..." He says, but he is very confused on why he just shared his life story with this guy and why the hug makes him feel...calm. Not just calm but at peace. He returns the hug with a squeeze of his own.

Micah strokes his hair, the angel part of him glad to provide him with some peace. "You deserve your happiness," he whispers before he can stop himself, then freezes a little, hoping that he won't freak him out.

He isn't freaked out. In fact, he's feeling so good that he turns so that he can place a kiss on Micah's lips.

The kiss takes him by surprise, but he's soon returning it with a smile.

He pulls back after a moment, "I have to get back onstage, but...thank you. I hope to see you at the club again sometime, Micah."

"Next time I'm in town, I'll try to stop by," Micah says with a smile. "It was nice meeting you, Adam."

"Nice meeting you." He says with a smile and he won't forget his chance meeting with this beautiful guy.

Micah waits for Adam to head back to the stage, happy that he's gotten even more confidence from a stranger before turning to mingle some more and see what else happens.
