Halloween Party (backdated like a mofo)

The theme for this year's annual Halloween Bash is Heroes and Villains. The club has been redecorated for the evening, and it seems as though each corner has a different theme. And we're not talking the campy sixties type stuff, but the more recent movies from both Marvel and DC.

One half of the room is DC, complete with areas that look like the Batcave, the Fortress of Solitude, Arkham Asylum, and the Legion of Doom's lair, which has dartboards that have various heroes faces on them.

The other half of the room has the Avenger's Tower, The ship from Guardian's of the Galaxy, a throne in space with Thanos, and Hydra's lair.

They all meet in the middle at the dance floor, which gives off a kind of supernatural glow that seems to throb along with the music.

All the employees are dressed for the theme, as various heroes and villian's sidekicks and henchment.

"Well this will be quite the change for her then," he says, grinning as well. "I do like the costume. It makes me want to confess all my sins."

"Please do. I've been hearing that a lot tonight. I'm ready to hear anything." He says with a grin.

"Anything, huh? Kyle leans over the bar so he can whisper against his ear. "I am completely in love with you."

He smiles, "That's a nice confession. I'll give you a kiss for that." He says as he leans over the bar so he can kiss him gently.

Kyle leans in as well, savoring the soft kiss.

He chuckles softly. "It's definitely different without the scruff."

He pulls back and touches his fingers to his chin, "Do you like it, though? I'm not sure but it'll grow back by tomorrow."

"I think I prefer the scruff personally, but on you it doesn't matter. I love everything about you."

He smiles, "I love you too, Kyle. It's been a while since I've heard you say that."

"Well it's been a long vacation, but it's good to be home again. Good to see you, especially."

"Thank you. Are you still only in love with Evan or did you find out that you're in love with all of them now too?" He muses as he hands Kyle a drink. "Although, I have to tell you that no one blames you for falling in love with Evan. He's..." He doesn't finish that sentence but the sound that comes from his lips pretty much means, 'Yummy'.

He grins softly. "Yeah, he is, isn't he?"

He then shakes his head a bit. "No. I wouldn't say I'm in love with any of the others, but I do love them."

He smiles, "But you are in love with me? I'm flattered and honored, Kyle."

He chuckles. "Almost from the moment we met."

"When was that, exactly? What phase were we in at that time?" He asks, because...hell. I don't even know this story. I'm sure he does, but he might be testing Kyle.

"You'd probably been working here for just a few weeks. I was training you at the time, and there was something about you that just...made me want to know everything about you."

"Ah, but you weren't getting it though. At that time I was emo and still reeling over what happened in Vegas. Remember my long hair?"

"I rather liked the long hair, actually. I mean sure, it was emo, but you still pulled it off."

"Somehow, I highly doubt it," Kyle says with a soft grin.

He nods because that is very true and he's humble enough to admit it. "I think that your LA guys just got here." He says with a lift of his head to nod toward the floor. "You better go say hi so I can get back to work."

"Maybe I can see you on your break, if your not busy with your rather lovely wife and her...interesting costume, that is."

"You've seen her? Can you give me a hint of her costume?" He says before he shakes his head, "Nevermind. I will see you on my break. One of my breaks. I get two tonight."
