Halloween Party (backdated like a mofo)

The theme for this year's annual Halloween Bash is Heroes and Villains. The club has been redecorated for the evening, and it seems as though each corner has a different theme. And we're not talking the campy sixties type stuff, but the more recent movies from both Marvel and DC.

One half of the room is DC, complete with areas that look like the Batcave, the Fortress of Solitude, Arkham Asylum, and the Legion of Doom's lair, which has dartboards that have various heroes faces on them.

The other half of the room has the Avenger's Tower, The ship from Guardian's of the Galaxy, a throne in space with Thanos, and Hydra's lair.

They all meet in the middle at the dance floor, which gives off a kind of supernatural glow that seems to throb along with the music.

All the employees are dressed for the theme, as various heroes and villian's sidekicks and henchment.

Kyle is at the bar, and has yet to see what's going on.

Wes is no where to be seen at the moment, not that it's all that unusual for him to disappear for a while.

James comes up to Kyle, clearly upset. "I just fucked someone that I thought was Will and it wasn't." He says as he looks around, "There he is..." He freezes, "With Lucifer and Jason. They're here..."

"What do you mean it wasn't Will," he says as he slowly turns to see Lucifer and Jason with...not!Will, apparently.

Although it's odd that Evan is over there with them now. He frowns before he turns back to Kyle, "There is a guy here that looks exactly like Will. He's wearing the same outfit as he is. He's the Winter Soldier and his name is Benjamin. I didn't realize it at first but afterward I learned the truth. Now that they are here, something is wrong. I just know it. They're up to something. We have to get Wes and we need to confront them."

"Just cut the shit," Evan says to Lucifer. "You don't need anyone else here."

Lucifer pretends to pout. "But I really want to see the look on everyone's faces when they know the truth."

Plus, he knows Benjamin is on his way to them and he wants a dramatic reveal in front of everyone.

Jason smiles as he makes the whole room stop, except for the players in this little chess match. Therefore, if they didn't know something was up...they do now.

He scans the room and he can already see Aidan, Jason, James, and Kyle. He can't see the other and he doesn't know where Grace and Gabriel are. He also doesn't know where Benjamin is either.

Evan looks around when everything else stops, feeling a moment's hesitation at the display of power, but he refuses to be intimidated.

Grace is back in her female form, and she and Gabriel make their way towards the group when Jason makes the room stop. Benjamin is watching from the shadows. He sees his master with the real Will and he doesn't know if he should still go to him.

Aidan comes out eventually, wondering why everything stopped. However, he gets his answer when he looks toward the middle of the dance floor. He hurries to find Wes because shits about to get real.

Kevin is active as well, but he stays quiet for a moment, looking around for Benjamin. He's happy, when he sees him there with Lucifer but...something's wrong.

"Will, I think that there is someone that you need to meet. Benjamin." He calls out to the room. "Come here."

This little bit, they don't need to do with the others, although he knows that James and Kyle are around and can hear every word of it.

Kyle notices Aidan going to find Wes, and so he just stays close to James. He knows that his own secret is going to come out tonight, and he just hopes they understand. He should have just told them, but...he was afraid they wouldn't be able to stand being near him anymore.

When Benjamin hears his master call for him, he slowly comes out of hiding and makes his way towards where his master and Lucifer are standing with....that other one.

Evan turns when Benjamin gets closer, and the shock on his face is mirrored on Will's. By this time, Jase has moved closer to see what's going on, and when he sees Benjamin and Will standing there, he squeezes his eyes shut then opens them again.

"What the fuck is this shit?" he eloquently says, voicing what some others are thinking.

"Darling, perhaps you would like to explain."

Lucifer walks over to Benjamin and smiles softly at him. "Come, pet," he says, taking him by the hand and leading him over to where Jason and Will are standing.

Will, Evan and Jase continue to stare at Benjamin, but Benjamin has lowered his eyes, wishing he could just fold in on himself and disappear completely.

"This is Benjamin Grey, my darling husband's pet and most obedient servant. I imagine you all are assuming I created this magnificent specimen myself, but I can assure you that the resemblance is purely coincidental." Lucifer smiles at Benjamin and strokes his fingers across his cheek. "Isn't that wonderful? You are nothing more than each other's doppelgängers."

"No relation, which bored us a little because that would have been fun. However, you just look like each other." He says as he walks over to Benjamin as well, "I love him very much."

He looks at Benjamin, drawing his eyes back up to his. "I love you very much. You were, at the start, just a replacement but you are more than that now."

Benjamin looks at his master with obvious adoration. "I love you, master," he whispers. "Thank you."

"Master?" Evan says with disdain, then looks at Jason. "You got a lookalike to replace Will and now you love him? I don't know if that's sad or just pathetic."

He smiles, "You don't understand, Evan. I love Will as well. I always have. And you know what? He loves me. He thought of Lucifer and I when you were gone and we made him remember every bit of how much he loves us."

Jason kisses Benjamin on the head, but he lets him go to stand by Kevin, who is close now.

Evan watches his husband's lookalike go over to some other guy and the way he holds onto him and kisses him makes it clears they're boyfriends.

Turning his attention back to Jason, Evan narrows his eyes. "You took advantage of him when I was gone?"

"You seem to be under the impression that we do things against people's will. Let me tell you the truth. After the 'peace treaty' between my husband and Gabriel concerning how we conduct our business with you, everything we do is above board. Now, we deal with nothing but Free Will. My Benjamin? He chose this with his free will and he is getting rewarded because of it.

When Will thought about us, that was his free will and we came at his request. We aren't forcing anyone to do anything."

Evan clenches his jaw as he listens to Jason, then looks at Will. "Is that true?"

Will swallows and slowly nods.

His expression still unreadable, Evan looks at Jason. "What else do I need to know?"

"I hope everyone is listening." He calls out, because he knows that they are. "Because there is so much more."

"For instance. That deal that Gabriel made with Lucifer, did not apply to me. I wanted to tear a piece of your flesh away from your body, bit by bit, the moment I met you." he says as he drags his hand up Evan's arm. "But, do you know why I haven't? It's because of Kyle. He gave me his soul so I could protect you. Not James. No. To protect you. Only, I didn't put up a veil so that he wouldn't know. He knew this whole time. He's been lying to all of you for a very long time."

James comes out of nowhere, livid, "That's bullshit! Kyle would never give his soul to you. He would never do that!"

Jason smiles at James, "Maybe you should ask your husband."

Kyle looks at James, then the rest of the room. There are tears in his eyes, though they don't fall.

"I'm sorry. Jason...it's my fault he was ever here in the first place and...I couldn't let him hurt anyone I loved. I just...I couldn't..."

"You..." James says, stuttering because he is taken back. "You gave your soul to Jason? What else did you do?"

"Whatever he wanted of me," he says softly, unable to look at him.

Wes is there now, in the shadows, watching with eyes that reveal nothing of what he might be thinking.

"Oh wait...where as Kyle did know this whole time. One of you did not." He says.

James automatically looks at Aidan, who is standing closer.

Jason shakes his head, "Not him, although not for lack of trying over and over again."

He looks at the other Jason and makes him remember all their times together.

Jase gasps when the memories are all given back to him, and the tiniest hint of a smile crosses his face at the sensations that accompany them before he looks guiltily at Will and Evan.

"I...I didn't remember..." he says, the look he can see in Evan's eyes actually scaring him.

Evan grits his teeth. "You son of a bitch," he growls as he lunges at the demon to choke him. Before he can, Lucifer raises a hand to stop him, immobilizing Evan instantly.

"Don't make me break your neck, sweetheart," he sighs. "You and I may have loved one another once, but I will destroy you in front of your family if you touch one hair on my husband's head. I don't care what kind of deals were made or that you can't really hurt him. It's just rude when we're trying to have a reasonable discussion."

"Evan...please..." Jase says softly. The memories that were given back to him included Aidan and Cal being there and he doesn't want anyone else outed.

Wes' eyes flicker from Kyle, to Will, to Jason, and finally to Aidan before moving back to what's going on. He isn't an idiot. Aidan has missing memories too, and he's Jason's husband.

Wes has gone cold.
