Halloween Party (backdated like a mofo)

The theme for this year's annual Halloween Bash is Heroes and Villains. The club has been redecorated for the evening, and it seems as though each corner has a different theme. And we're not talking the campy sixties type stuff, but the more recent movies from both Marvel and DC.

One half of the room is DC, complete with areas that look like the Batcave, the Fortress of Solitude, Arkham Asylum, and the Legion of Doom's lair, which has dartboards that have various heroes faces on them.

The other half of the room has the Avenger's Tower, The ship from Guardian's of the Galaxy, a throne in space with Thanos, and Hydra's lair.

They all meet in the middle at the dance floor, which gives off a kind of supernatural glow that seems to throb along with the music.

All the employees are dressed for the theme, as various heroes and villian's sidekicks and henchment.

Mia's dressed as Black Widow, her jumpsuit similar to the one from the second Avengers movie.

She decided against a wig, but her hair is curled a bit and she's armed to the teeth just like Black Widow. Yes, those are all real weapons. Yes, she looks ready to kick your ass and look good while doing it. But for now, she's probably going to spend much of her evening at the bar.

"I thought you didn't see me that way," Grace says slowly. "But if you do..."

Gabriel grins at Aidan. "If you do, we can certainly make that happen."

He smiles, "I think I was afraid that Evan might kill me. Now, I'm pretty sure that he'll kill me over other things and this is the least of my worries. So, I don't mind at all!"

Jason laughs. "Yeah, that all sounds pretty familiar," he says. "We had some trouble getting here on time because I changed my mind about my costume." He turns around and wiggles his ass. "But I like the way I look in it."

"Merci," Cal says. "I was originally going to be Thor and Jason was going to be Loki, but he changed his mind. I'm glad you like this one better."

By now, Evan's taken off his costume's mask and he's ready for a cold beer. He walks up to the bar, a grin on his face at Killian's costume. He remembers being a priest one year, with Jason and Will as an angel and a devil, respectively, and he's got to admit it was a hell of a lot of fun. No pun intended. He knows for damn sure, though, that he didn't look as good as Killian does tonight. Like, really good. The errant thought about his friend makes him blush a little and clear his throat.

"Hey, padre. I've got a confession to make. You up for it?"

Mia and Gabriel

Gabriel steps up to the bar to get a couple of drinks for himself and Grace. He had considered just making some appear to them, but Grace had insisted they try to be as normal tonight as possible, and he had grudgingly agreed. Before trying to flag down a bartender, he turns his head to nod a greeting at the female seated at the bar, then smiles when he sees who it is.

"Hello, Mia." He's still wearing his Batman mask, so he adds. "It's me. Gabriel."

Grace smiles before stepping towards Aidan. She had noticed the blush earlier when she'd kissed him on the cheek. She wonders what he'll do now as she presses herself close and brushes her lips over his. "Don't worry, I can handle Uncle Evan," she says softly.

Gabriel swallows hard at the sight because it's the first time he's seeing her like this with anyone, and it's rather exciting to him.

"Ah...." He says because he is now tented under all those clothes because it's like Catwoman is pressing up against him and that's a dream.

He turns around and smiles as he sees Evan sitting there, "Hey there, stranger. I am always up for a confession, my child." He says, getting in the spirit of it.

Mia's been seemingly lost in thought, staring at her drink, but looks up at Gabriel when he speaks and instantly breaks into a grin.

"Gabriel! It's been too long!" She slides off her stool to give him a big bearhug. "I wouldn't have guessed you as Batman but you look good."

"I think we should dance," Jason says, taking Aidan by the hand. "I feel the need to have you rubbing up against me."

Grace knows the power of her costume. Her husband has been at a steady simmer ever since she put it on, and now she can feel Aidan's reaction.

She brushes her lips along his jaw then up to his ear and whispers, "This feels promising." As she says it, she starts to rub against him.

While she does that, Gabriel moves to stand behind Aidan. "Is there somewhere we can go?" he whispers into Aidan's other ear.

Evan takes a seat on a barstool. "I'm thinking about giving up defending my country. Gonna hang it up and take up shuffleboard."

Gabriel returns the hug. "Thank you. It was Grace's idea. You look lovely. And dangerous."

She pulls back to look at his costume better. "Who's she dressed as? Batgirl or Batwoman?" Give her a break, she's still learning all the comic book characters on this planet...

Mia gives a very innocent, cute smile at the compliment. "Thank you. That's the point, cause I am."

"We had discussed Batgirl, but since the theme was heroes and villains, we decided on Catwoman." Gabriel smiles because, thanks to Jason and Evan, he has become quite knowledgeable about these things.

He looks at her ensemble again. "Grace's costume is similar in that it's black and skin tight, but her only accessory is a whip."
