Halloween Party (backdated like a mofo)

The theme for this year's annual Halloween Bash is Heroes and Villains. The club has been redecorated for the evening, and it seems as though each corner has a different theme. And we're not talking the campy sixties type stuff, but the more recent movies from both Marvel and DC.

One half of the room is DC, complete with areas that look like the Batcave, the Fortress of Solitude, Arkham Asylum, and the Legion of Doom's lair, which has dartboards that have various heroes faces on them.

The other half of the room has the Avenger's Tower, The ship from Guardian's of the Galaxy, a throne in space with Thanos, and Hydra's lair.

They all meet in the middle at the dance floor, which gives off a kind of supernatural glow that seems to throb along with the music.

All the employees are dressed for the theme, as various heroes and villian's sidekicks and henchment.

Let the fun begin!

Jamie waves a hand a bit in a manner that says it doesn't really matter. "To each their own. I figure if I need to know some of them better at some point, then I will, otherwise I've got my own family and friends to worry about."

"Yeah. Hell, I don't even know James and Kyle that good."

"James is a sweetheart. Kyle avoids me."

"Why would he avoid you? I thought Sean was the one who's shy around women."

"Kyle is always uneasy around girls, but more so around me because I'm married to Killian."

"I'd forgotten about that -- he and Kyle have a thing, right? I've lost track of who's with who in the harem and just think of them as one big group."

"That's what I like to call it. Just lost one of my favorite friends with benefits though, cause he got a girlfriend. I need to replace him..."

That makes her laugh. "I was one of those girls once, stealing away someone else's benefits."

"Well, maybe not commit so much, but they certainly wanted down my pants."

"I still don't see how that's stealing away anyone else's benefits. Sounds like he was getting plenty of benefits if you know what I mean."

She laughs. "Perhaps, but sometimes I wasn't informed that said person was already getting benefits from someone else on a regular basis."

"That's true--" without missing a beat, Mia straightens and continues, "are you saying you've been with women?? How did I not know that??"

She laughs softly. "Back in my early modeling days I dabbled a bit. Mostly just curiosity."

"It's vaguely coming back you mentioned that sometime. I completely forgot about that."

"That I've been with girls or that I was a model," she asks with a laugh.

"That you've been with girls," Mia laughs. "It's easy to forget cause you're with Killian. I don't think anyone can ever forget you were a model."

"Why thank you," she says with a smile. "I had a bad relationship and had always been attracted to girls too, so I went that way for a while. In the end though, I'm just more into guys."
